How to Buy Soundproof Curtains

Detailed Guide for Purchasing Soundproof Curtains through Residential Acoustics

While we have made an effort to make the ordering form as straight-forward and intuitive as possible, it can still be difficult at times to know exactly which values to put into the order fields. We’ve created this guide as a step-by-step process to ensure our customers the orders are being placed accurately, and detailing the process we take to get your curtain to you quickly and with the utmost quality. When purchasing our soundproof curtains, follow the order form and fill in the information needed at each step. Remember that there are a number of variables that affect the efficacy of the curtains when installed – please take these into account during the ordering process.

1. Access the page that overviews the Soundproof Curtains (AcousticCurtain™)

2. Fill in the required fields

These include the width and height of the window. Notice that we already add 2″ to each dimension after your submission, to ensure there is an adequate overlap on all sides for a tight seal. If you have a uniquely shaped window (overhangs above, curved surfaces, etc.), you may need to take these into account during the measurement process. You only need to measure for the soundproof curtain to the nearest whole inch, rounding up if it is in the middle.

3. The color or pattern of fabric you would like included in your curtain

Select whichever color or pattern you would like for your soundproof curtain. We offer a variety of selections to help you match the fabric with your existing decor. However, if you cannot find a fabric that fits best, you can send your fabric to our warehouse, where we will use it as the finishing material. 4. Strap color

We use the straps to raise and lower the curtain, and lock it into place when you want to allow sunlight inside. Simply lift the strap-adjusters upward to lower the soundproof curtain back down when you need to block external noise.

5. Hook Type

If you would like to order the premium hooks, you may do so. These will ship with your order, along with the installation instructions needed to help you hang the curtain more quickly.

6. Place Order

When you place your order, you may pay with Debit, Credit, or PayPal. All orders are started the day the payment is received, and ship within 5-10 business days. You will receive a tracking number the day the soundproof curtain leaves our facility, and another automated notification when it arrives.
